As a corporate wellbeing coach, I have the humbling experience of being brought into the corporate and office environment to help leaders and employees maintain and improve their health and wellbeing. Not unlike a nutritionist or athletic coach, who assigns a specific eating and exercise plan, as a wellbeing coach, I focus on advising and helping my clients to make better choices based on their lifestyles. Employers engage with me for many reasons, but a primary motive is to improve their employees’ health, reduce health care costs and absenteeism, and contribute positively to performance, productivity, and employee engagement.
